THE LODI AREA: ENTERPRISES AND EMPLOYEES

The Lodi area has nearly 14,400 active enterprises, the majority of which operate in the tertiary sector, particularly in services, where there are about 5,300 units (37% of the total) employing about 19,800 employees (45.3%). The manufacturing sector has over 1,478 enterprises (10.5%) with about 10,300 employees (23.5%). The number of businesses fell by 0.6% y-o-y, whereas employees decreased by 0.8%.

SALES OF OFFICES AND WAREHOUSES

The number of office sales stood at 31 deals in 2020 (increasing on annual change), 15 of which are located in the town of Lodi. The average stock turnover is equal to 1.4%. The number of warehouses sales stood at 44 transactions in the whole area, with an average stock turnover equal to 1.4%.

OFFICES PRICES 

During 2020 in the Province of Lodi the maximum price of the offices amounts to 1,112 euros/sqm (+0.2% y-o-y), whereas the offices medium price is about 995 euros/sqm (+0.3%). In the town of Lodi the medium price is equal to 1,916 euros/sqm in the city centre and to 1,345 euros/sqm in peripheral areas.

In 2020 the average maximum price of industrial warehouses located in the Lodi area is equal to 530 Euro/sqm (-0.6%). The average price of warehouses stood at 473 Euro/sqm (-0.7%).
